BREAKING NEWS!! – Starting in May, 2011, Evolving Music will most likely be moving to 800 Main St in Holden, MA (above UPS in the “Pink Building”). I’m very excited that this is on the horizon, it will mean even a higher quality of instruction and more aspects to music education I can offer. More details to come!

The private lesson is stepping into the 21st century! No longer are the days where the lessons are simply a teacher and student at a piano. Lessons are enhanced with many benefits of modern technology. A student can record a song and it will be in their email inbox when they arrive home. You can even bring an iPod (properly configured) and upload your new recording before you walk out the door! Teacher and student can enjoy playing duets with one another often exchanging instruments. And the student will benefit from the many possibilities of having custom play along recordings made right in the lesson!
The Lesson Room
The studio is equipped with many professional musical instruments and equipment to enhance the quality of the education your child can receive. A partial list includes;
* Yamaha studio upright piano
* Digital keyboards and synthesizers
* Drum Set and Percussion
* Electric Bass
* Acoustic Guitar
* Professional Recording Equipment and Software.
Waiting Room
For parents and or siblings that would like to wait during their lesson, there is a separate waiting area. We have;
* books, magazines
* free wireless Internet (you need to bring your own laptop or wireless device)
* NEW – free coffee/hot chocolate/tea! (The apple cider is a big hit)
A Comfortable Enviornment
The lesson studio is located on the first floor in the front of our new (to us) home (or soon to be at 800 Main St Holden). The room is bright and energizing with plenty of windows. A great learning environment for kids and a convenient set-up for parents.
